The Art of Eating: May 2012

Posted at May 3, 2012 by 1 Comment

Last month saw the coming together of so many great things, lemonade and scones, deep fat frying and meringues, eggs and red food colouring, and old and new geeks at our Experiments dinner. This month, we’re hoping that the May sunshine will feed that creativity even more…

The Art Of Eating

Have you ever looked at a plate of food and been astounded by its beauty? Or received a dish that displayed an ingredient in a way you never thought possible? Growing up, did your plate resemble a Mondrian, a Picasso or just an excitable mess?

This month’s theme is all about food, art, and the thin lines that weave between them.

We are asking the total food geeks to play with their food, to becomes ‘artistes’, or to discover those that do it to the very best of their ability. Whether it’s culinary artistry, a new way of eating, or a look at a venue that combines art and food in delicious and intriguing ways, we can’t wait to see what you come up with.

Have a mouth-watering month.
